A.N.D. Commission 2018, My Creative School

In October 2017 Elspeth was one of 10 artists commissioned by A.N.D. to work with a designated London Primary school on a project titled “My Creative School”. Elspeth worked with Teachers and the SLT on a co-designed project with the aim of  supporting teaching staff to develop their creative skills and incorporate creative approaches into their teaching practice. The aim of this project was also to impact on improving and developing the use of the school site for outdoor learning. Elspeth co-designed walks with both teachers and pupils which inspired the idea of co-creating a ‘Creative Deck’ ( a set of Psycho-Geography and Philosophical Enquiry inspired playing cards ). These supported  pupils, teachers and parents to explore how creativity and the use of creative approaches can support teaching and learning at the school.
